Question:
Does using HRT (Hormone replacement therapy ) patch break the fast?
Answer:
A hormone replacement therapy patch would not break ones fast as the hormone is being injected into the body through the skin and not through the mouth. It is similar to a person taking injection in the state of fasting, which does not invalidate the fast. (Ahsanul Fatawa p.432 v.4)
