Question:

I sold a webcam, and 3D glasses a few days to make some extra cash.A webcam, and 3D glasses are generally used to take pictures, and to watch animated content, but they can also be used to take pictures, and watch content that are not animated, although such a purpose is less frequent than what they're usually used for.
I sold them on eBay, was the income halal for me to accept?

Answer

If the primary use of a piece of equipment is haram then it will be impermissible to sell. If the primary use of a piece of equipment is halal, but it can also be used in a haram way, then it will be permissible to sell and any gains made will be lawful but it is better to avoid altogether.
