\n\tQuestion<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIs combing the hair and beard in the mosque after ablution permissible?<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAnswer<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt is considered an etiquette to look after the hair, and this includes combing it regularly.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Prophet \"\u1e63allall\u0101hu said: “Whoever has hair should honour it.”<\/em>[1]<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tHowever, it is advisable to comb the hair outside the masjid. This is understood from the following hadith narrated in Sahih al-Bukhari:<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tA’isha \"ra\u1e0dyAll\u0101hu stated: The Prophet \"\u1e63allall\u0101hu used to bend his head (out) to me while he was in Itikaf in the mosque during my monthly periods and I would comb and oil his hair.” [2]<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
