\n\tIslam has entrusted the man with the duty of caring for his wife and children and thus, women are not required to work and earn for the family.[1]<\/sup><\/sup><\/a> <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\t<\/a>If a woman is required to work, then working in an Islamic environment where her specific needs are catered for is the best option. For example, an Islamic school where males and females are segregated and time are given for the performance of Salaah etc.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\tNursing is a praiseworthy profession as it entails caring for individuals, families, and communities in order that they live comfortably. However, it must be ensured that the rules of Hijaab and segregation are upheld. Thus, one should try their absolute best to abstain from treating patients of the opposite gender unless there is a dire need.[2]<\/sup><\/sup><\/a> Likewise, for a woman, she must observe the rules of covering herself appropriately. Also, seclusion in areas with the opposite gender must be avoided.[3]<\/sup><\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
