Combining intentions in prayers<\/p>\n
In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.<\/strong><\/p>\n Answer<\/p>\n If multiple intentions are made in \u2018wasail\u2019 i.e. in those actions, which are a means to complete an act such as wudhu, then they are always permitted.\u00a0 For example, if a person performs the fardh ghusl on Friday with the intention of being pure from major impurity and also makes the intention to fulfil the sunnah of a Friday bath, one will get the reward of both.<\/p>\n If the multiple intentions are on salah then if it is between two nafl acts such as Tahiyatul Wudhu ad Tahiyatul Masjid, then it is valid.\u00a0\u00a0 However, it is more rewarding to read them separately. (Ahsanul Fatawa p.453 v.3)<\/p>\n If the multiple intentions is between two fardh acts or between a fardh and nafl act then this will be considered invalid.
