(she is still in nifaas)<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong><u>Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>In The Name Of Allah, The Most-Merciful, The Most Kind<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Nif\u0101s refers to the blood that is discharged from a woman&#39;s womb during or after childbirth or a miscarriage, and is usually translated as &quot;post-natal bleeding&quot;. Nif\u0101s starts from the time of childbirth and continues until the bleeding stops. There is no minimum limit for nif\u0101s, but there is a maximum limit of 40 days after which nif\u0101s will automatically be over.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">A husband is prohibited from pronouncing divorce (\u1e6dal\u0101q) on his wife while she is in a state of menstruation or nif\u0101s. However, if someone gives divorce to his wife during this period, the divorce will take effect and be valid, but the man will be a sinner to for giving divorce in such state (al-Fat\u0101w\u0101 al-Hindiyyah, 1\/349).<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">The waiting period (\u02bbiddah) in this situation remains as three complete menstrual cycles. Therefore, her waiting period will begin from the next cycle for three complete cycles (al-Fat\u0101w\u0101 al-Hindiyyah, 1\/527).<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">In case she is breastfeeding her baby, it should be noted that women who are breastfeeding do not usually menstruate.
