\n\t“O Allah, I ask You for the goodness within her and the goodness that she is inclined towards, and I seek refuge with you from the evil to which she is inclined.”<\/b><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr that the Prophet said:<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t“When anyone of you gets a new wife, a servant, or an animal, let him take hold of the forelock and say: Allahumma inni as`aluka min khayriha wa khayri ma jubilat 'alaihi, wa 'audhu bika min sharriha wa sharri ma jubilat `alaih .' ” [1]<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tii) There are some traditions from the sahabah, encouraging praying two rakaat together and making dua for a successful marriage.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t“Oh Allah protect us against Satan and keep away the Satan from the one that you have bestowed upon us.” <\/b><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThis is due to Allah's Messenger (\ufdfa) saying:<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIf anyone amongst you intends to go to his wife he should say: In the name of Allah,0 Allah protect us against Satan and keep away the Satan from the one that you have bestowed upon us, and if He has ordained a male child for them, Satan will never be able to do any harm to him. [2]<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
