By breaking this type of oath &lsquo;Kaffarah&rsquo; becomes compulsory.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:18.0pt;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">The Kaffarah and expiation are what is mentioned in the Qur&#39;an and this will need to be in sequence as per what&rsquo;s mentioned below.<a name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">The expiation of a broken oath is to feed ten poor persons (2 meals each), or to clothe them (1 garment each), or to give them the equivalent monetary value. If one is unable to do that, one must fast three consecutive days.
