Are they aware of what&rsquo;s going on in the world right now? They are no longer amongst the living of the world. All\u0101h says: &quot;Indeed you [O Prophet] will die, and they will die too&quot; (Qur&#39;\u0101n, 39:30). Ab\u016b Bakr ra\u1e0d\u012bAll\u0101hu\u02bbanhu said upon the passing away of the Prophet \ufdfa: &quot;No doubt! Whoever worshipped Mu\u1e25ammad, then Mu\u1e25ammad is dead, but whoever worshipped All\u0101h, then All\u0101h is Alive and shall never die&quot; <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">(\u1e62a\u1e25\u012b\u1e25 al-Bukh\u0101r\u012b, \u1e25ad\u012bth 3667, 3668).<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">It is our belief that the prophets are alive in their graves after passing away from this world, but that life is the life of Al-Barzakh, and not this world <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">(Inb\u0101&#39;u Al-Adhkiy\u0101&#39; Bi \u1e24ay\u0101ti al-Anbiy\u0101&#39;; Al-R\u016b\u1e25 of Ibn Al-Qayyim)<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">. The Barzakh is the period between a person&#39;s death and their resurrection on the Day of Resurrection. The life of Al-Barzakh is completely different from and nothing like that of <a name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a>this world. The true nature and the reality of the Barzakh is not something that anyone understands except All\u0101h, and we do not understand how time passes during that life.
