Last year I was in a relationship with a non-Muslim girl. We committed Zina and she also got pregnant. I just found out recently that the baby was born.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">I have prayed and prayed to Allah for forgiveness as I know it&#39;s a very big sin. I cannot even think of anything else apart from what my family would say or do and also Allah&#39;s punishment.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">My family are unaware of this and want me to marry.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">My question is, do I need to inform a potential spouse of what I have done?<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">The non-Muslim understands and does not want me to tell my family but I feel like I cannot breathe nor pray properly because of the action I have committed. It is evident that zina is strictly prohibited in the Shari&rsquo;ah and strict punishments have been laid out for those who commit it. However, we as human beings can slip up and make mistakes. Do not let shaytan make you despair of the mercy of Allah Ta&rsquo;ala. Continue making sincere repentance and make a firm intention that you will never come near this disgraceful act which leads to the wrath of Allah Ta&rsquo;ala.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">It will be best that you get married as soon as you can in order to protect yourself from falling into such actions in the future. By principle, you do not have to let your future wife know about your sin. However, if you think the non-Muslim girl will interrupt your life and cause problems, it&rsquo;s best you explain it to the person you will get married to in order for it to not be a surprise to her.
