\n\tSalam, mufti sahib. A weird question, but is there anything wrong with walking under trees at night. I feel like there is this myth perpetuated by people that walking at night in the vicinity of trees is dangerous due to jinn or whatever.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWe have not come across such information during our research.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tNevertheless, Imam al-Nawawi\u0631\u062d\u0645\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647<\/span> mentions that ‘al-Bayhaqi \u0631\u062d\u0645\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647<\/span>said, It is disliked to walk outside at the beginning of the night because of the Hadith of Jabir\u0631\u0636\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0646\u0647<\/span> who said, the Prophet (s.a.w) said: “Do not send your property and your children outside when the sun disappears until the blackness of the night is gone, for verily the devils spread out when the sun sets until the blackness of the night is gone.” It was related by Muslim.’[1]<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThis evidence states that there is a dislike only but there are other pieces of evidence as well that Prophet (s.a.w) traveled by night.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSo, when you go out for a walk ensure that you are with wudhu, made your du\u02bfa of protection and Allah Taala will protect you, in sh\u0101 Allah.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
