The Arabs raised a large number of people to go to war against Abrahah. This army was defeated by Abrahah.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Abrahah then took his army towards Taif. Abu Righal, a tribesman of Banu<em> <\/em>Thaqif, revealed to the army the way to Makkah. As a result, of this dishonourable act, Banu<em> <\/em>Thaqif<em> <\/em>were completely disgraced in the eyes of the Arabs and lost their respect. <em>Abu Righal <\/em>met an equally terrible fate, with the Arabs pelting stones at his grave for a number of years.
