{"id":1882,"date":"2011-08-30T14:12:03","date_gmt":"2011-08-30T14:12:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/wp\/?p=1882"},"modified":"2011-08-30T14:12:03","modified_gmt":"2011-08-30T14:12:03","slug":"white-wine-vinegar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/home\/white-wine-vinegar\/","title":{"rendered":"White-wine vinegar"},"content":{"rendered":"<table dir=\"ltr\" width=\"100%\" border=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Is it permissible to eat foods which contain white wine vinegar?<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><strong> In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><strong><\/strong>Answer:<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>Two successive microbial processes produce vinegar-<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">An alcoholic fermentation (which is<em> Haraam<\/em>).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">An oxidation of alcohol by aceto bacter, when it&#8217;s molecular structure is changed and it ceases to be an intoxicant. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Other varieties of vinegar are produced from beetroot, tarragon and alcoholic spirits.
