Assalamu Alaikum. There are some people who think that if after performing a complete wudhu (may or may not offer salat with it), it breaks due to some reason, then the 2nd time only masah over the socks can be performed and there is no need to wash the feet like in the previous normal wudhu. Is this thought valid as per the shariah ruling of wudhu?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The ruling for Masah on leather socks being correct is that it is worn after one has done a complete wudhu and that the time period for the Masah begins after the first breaking of the wudhu and not from the moment the wudhu is done and the leather socks worn. (Raddul Muhtar p.270 v.1)<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding your question, as long as a complete wudhu was done, the next time one performs the wudhu after the breaking of the wudhu one will be allowed to merely do Masah over the leather socks.<\/span><\/p>\n
