If one was to take an oath on the Quran\/Mushaf, will he be committing Shirk?<\/span><\/p>\n

Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn Umar ( \u0631\u0636\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0646\u0647\u0645\u0627 ) narrates that the Messenger (\u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645) of Allah (\u0639\u0632 \u0648 \u062c\u0644) said:<\/span><\/p>\n

“Verily! Allah forbids you to swear by your fathers. If one has to take an oath, he should swear by Allah or otherwise keep quiet”.[1]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Also, Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn Umar ( \u0631\u0636\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0646\u0647\u0645\u0627 ) narrates that the Messenger (\u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645)of Allah (\u0633\u0628\u062d\u0627\u0646\u0647 \u0648 \u062a\u0639\u0627\u0644\u0649) said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u0645\u064e\u0646 \u0643\u0627\u0646\u064e \u062d\u0627\u0644\u0650\u0641\u064b\u0627 \u0641\u064e\u0644\u0627 \u064a\u064e\u062d\u0652\u0644\u0650\u0641\u0652 \u0625\u0644\u0651\u0627 \u0628\u0650\u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647\u0650<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHe who takes an oath, must not take an oath but by Allah\u201d.[2]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

It is no secret that swearing by the Quran is now customary, so it is an oath.[3]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A person should not swear by other than Allah (\u0639\u0632 \u0648 \u062c\u0644), like the Prophet, the Quran and the Kaaba.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kamal(\u0631\u062d\u0645\u0647 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647) said:<\/span><\/p>\n

It is no secret that swearing by the Quran is now common, so they become familiar. And as for swearing by the word of Allah,it revolves with the custom. [4]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
