For the Imam to turn towards the congregation before every salah and remind them to fill in the gaps, stand shoulder to shoulder, request them to place their heels on a marked line so no one is out of line, and ask for brothers to shift here and there should there be a need.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once rows are straightened salah commences.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOn the morning of Aqabah, when he(\u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645) was atop his she-camel, the Messenger (\u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645)of Allah (\u0639\u0632 \u0648 \u062c\u0644)said: Pick up some pebbles for me. So I picked up seven pebbles for him, suitable for Khadhf.He(\u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645) began to toss them in his hand, saying: Throw something like these. Then he said: O people, beware of exaggeration in religious matters for those who came before you were doomed because of exaggeration in religious matters.[1]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Exaggeration (Ghuloo)is the separation of the truth, and one of the things they went to extremes about was that they supplicated to God a wife and a son.[2]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

\u0648\u0627\u0644\u063a\u064f\u0644\u064f\u0648\u0651\u064f \u0648\u0627\u0644\u062a\u0651\u064e\u0642\u0652\u0635\u0650\u064a\u0631\u064f \u0643\u064f\u0644\u0651\u064f \u0648\u0627\u062d\u0650\u062f\u064d \u0645\u0650\u0646\u0647\u064f\u0645\u0627 \u0645\u064e\u0630\u0652\u0645\u064f\u0648\u0645\u064c \u0641\u0650\u064a \u0627\u0644\u062f\u0651\u0650\u064a\u0646\u0650<\/span><\/p>\n

Exaggeration (Ghuloo) and dereliction, each of them is blameworthy in religion.[4]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Exaggeration is exceeding the limit, which is reprehensible, as well as negligence, and religion of Allah (\u0639\u0632 \u0648 \u062c\u0644) is between exaggeration and dereliction.[5]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Al-Ghuloo: It is going beyond the limit, exaggerating it and going deep.[6]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

\u0648\u0627\u0644\u063a\u064f\u0644\u064f\u0648\u0651\u064f \u0641\u0650\u064a \u0627\u0644\u062f\u0651\u0650\u064a\u0646\u0650 \u0647\u064f\u0648\u064e \u0645\u064f\u062c\u0627\u0648\u064e\u0632\u064e\u0629\u064f \u062d\u064e\u062f\u0651\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u062d\u064e\u0642\u0651\u0650 \u0641\u0650\u064a\u0647\u0650Ghuloo: transgressing the truth.[7]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

With regards to straightening the lines before Salah, Sayyiduna Numan Bin Bashir ( \u0631\u0636\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0646\u0647 ) narrates that the Prophet (\u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645) came forward to the people and said<\/span><\/p>\n

\u0623\u0642\u0650\u064a\u0645\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u0635\u064f\u0641\u064f\u0648\u0641\u064e\u0643\u064f\u0645\u0652\u060c \u062b\u064e\u0644\u0627\u062b\u064b\u0627\u060c \u0648\u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647\u0650 \u0644\u064e\u062a\u064f\u0642\u0650\u064a\u0645\u064f\u0646\u0651\u064e \u0635\u064f\u0641\u064f\u0648\u0641\u064e\u0643\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u0623\u0648\u0652 \u0644\u064e\u064a\u064f\u062e\u0627\u0644\u0650\u0641\u064e\u0646\u0651\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647\u064f \u0628\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0646\u064e \u0642\u064f\u0644\u064f\u0648\u0628\u0650\u0643\u064f\u0645\u0652<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cStraighten your rows (thrice). For by Allah, if you do not straighten your rows, Allah will separate your hearts\u201d.[8]<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah ( \u0631\u0636\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0646\u0647 ) relates that the Prophet (\u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645) said;\u00a0 \u0623\u0642\u0650\u064a\u0645\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u0635\u064f\u0641\u064f\u0648\u0641\u064e\u0643\u064f\u0645\u0652\u060c \u0648\u062a\u064e\u0631\u0627\u0635\u0651\u064f\u0648\u0627\u060c \u0641\u064e\u0625\u0646\u0651\u0650\u064a \u0623\u0631\u0627\u0643\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u0645\u0650\u0646 \u0648\u0631\u0627\u0621\u0650 \u0638\u064e\u0647\u0652\u0631\u0650\u064a<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cStraighten your rows and keep close together, for indeed I see you from behind my back\u201d.[9]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

These Ahadith demonstrate how important it is in salah to close the gaps between two individuals.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Other Ahadith demonstrate that Messenger (\u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645) would go and fix the rows himself to ensure the lines are as straight as a spear.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Messenger (\u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645)of Allah (\u0633\u0628\u062d\u0627\u0646\u0647 \u0648 \u062a\u0639\u0627\u0644\u0649)used to straighten our rows as if he (\u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645) was straightening the shaft of an arrow until he(\u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645) saw that we had learned it. Then he (\u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645) came out one day and was about to say the takbeer, when he (\u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645) noticed a man whose chest was sticking out from the row. He \u00a0(\u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645)said: \u201cSlaves of Allah! Make your rows straight or Allah will cause discord among you\u201d.[10]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

In the aforementioned case, all these actions carried out by your honourable Imam is in line with the Sunnah of the Prophet (\u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645)and therefore is not deemed as \u063a\u0644\u0648\u0627\u0641\u064a \u0627\u0644\u062f\u064a\u0646as it is the duty of the Imam to ensure the lines are straight, the front lines are full and there is no gap between individuals during the congregational Salah.<\/span><\/p>\n
