Is it permissible for a menstruating girl to enter the masjid if she is going for learning on a side where they do not pray \u1e63<\/em>al\u0101h<\/em>?<\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The actual masjid is the designated prayer space where the daily congregational prayers are conducted. Entering this hall is forbidden for a person who is in major ritual impurity such as a woman experiencing menses. This is the mainstream view in the four schools of jurisprudence. It should be noted that there is nothing wrong if the menstruating woman enters a classroom or other space in the masjid building if it is not considered the designated prayer space of the masjid. \u2013 (See: Al-Mabs\u016b\u1e6d, Vol 3, Page 153, D\u0101r Al-Ma\u2019arifah1<\/sup>)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Messenger of All\u0101h (peace and blessings be upon<\/em> him<\/em>) commanded menstruating women to remain away from the place of worship of the Muslims.\u201d \u2013 (\u1e62a\u1e25\u012b\u1e25 Muslim 890)2<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n
