Is it permissible to rinse your mouth with salt water for dental problems while fasting in Ramadan?<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It would be permissible to rinse the mouth with salt water for dental problems with the condition that no water reaches the throat. Even if a person swallows a little water by mistake the fast would become invalid, therefore extreme caution is needed if a person was to do this.<\/span><\/p>\n
