Can writing 100 in a sentence be a kin\u0101ya<\/em> if there is an intention? Such as someone typing 100 per cent in a sentence, for example, I am not 100 per cent today.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If a husband wrote or typed to or about his wife \u201cI give divorce 100%\u201d or \u201cI give it 100\u201d coupled with an intention, then such wordings do constitute a divorce. In the first statement, the word divorce is \u1e63<\/em>ar\u012b<\/em>\u1e25<\/em> (explicit) therefore whether an intention was made or not, the divorce is actualized according to Islamic law. \u201cIf he has divorced her, then she is not lawful to him.\u201d \u2013 (Qur\u2019\u0101n 2:230)6<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n

The Prophet Mu\u1e25ammad (peace and blessing upon him<\/em>) has said, \u201cThere are three things which, whether undertaken seriously or in jest, are treated as serious, they are marriage, divorce and taking back a wife (after a divorce which is not final).\u201d \u2013 (Sunan Ab\u012b D\u0101w\u016bd 2194)7<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cUwaymir Al-Ajl\u0101n\u012b (may All\u0101h be pleased with him<\/em>) divorced his wife with three pronouncements in the presence of the Messenger of All\u0101h (peace and blessings be upon him<\/em>). The Prophet of All\u0101h (peace and blessings be upon him<\/em>) considered the divorces executed.\u201d \u2013 (Sunan Ab\u016b D\u0101w\u016bd 2250)8<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018Abd All\u0101h Ibn Yaz\u012bd bin Ruk\u0101nah narrated from his father, from his grandfather (may All\u0101h be pleased with them<\/em>) who said, \u201cO Messenger of All\u0101h! I irrevocably divorced my wife.\u201d So he asked, \u201cWhat did you intend by that?\u201d I replied, \u201cOne (divorce pronouncement).\u201d He then questioned, \u201c[Do you swear] By All\u0101h?\u201d I stated, \u201c[Yes] By All\u0101h.\u201d He clarified, \u201cThen it is as you intended.\u201d \u2013 (Tirmidh\u012b 1177)9<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n
