 <\/p>\n

The Imam leads 2 salat over after completing 24 hours of the masah on his Wudu socks, by mistake as he totally forgot. What is the ruling on this, please?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If a person is a resident and not a traveller, then he wipes over his Khuffs for a maximum of a day and a night. However, if he is travelling, then he wipes over his Khuffs for a maximum of three days and nights. The commencement of wiping follows the occurrence of ritual impurity. 1<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Whatever nullifies wudu nullifies wiping. The removal of the Khuff also nullifies it, and so does the expiry of the period of wiping. 2<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Hence, in the aforementioned case, the Salah is not valid and therefore will have to be repeated.<\/span><\/p>\n
