What\u2019s the ruling of men braiding their hair?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sayyidatuna Umm Hani (\u0631\u0636\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0646\u0647\u0627) is reported to have said that:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u0631\u0623\u064a\u062a \u0631\u0633\u0648\u0644 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \ufdfa \u0630\u0627 \u0636\u0641\u0627\u0626\u0631 \u0623\u0631\u0628\u0639<\/span><\/p>\n

I saw the Prophet (\u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645) of Allah, whilst he had four braids (on his hair)\u201d.1<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Ahadith point out that the Prophet Muhammad (\u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645) had four braids is usually explained in the context of travel, which is the state of being busy and the like, (where it was burdensome to care for his \u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645 hair). 2<\/span><\/p>\n

The condition for braids for men is that they cannot imitate the braids of women or of non-Muslims in any way.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the aforementioned case, it is permissible for a man to braid his hair.<\/span><\/p>\n
