I have two children (boys) one is 10 years old & he has some delays in development. The second\u00a0is a special needs child with autism & many more complications.<\/span><\/p>\n

My wife is 5 months pregnant right now.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

  1. The baby is diagnosed with a backbone problem. That may be some parts missing or not straight.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    2- Heart Arteries are not properly placed as in normal human beings.<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    3- Some chromosomes are also disturbed, not sure but not down syndrome.<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Doctors are not sure about the consequences, how many surgeries will be required for the backbone or maybe he is not able to sit even.<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    In this condition, can we abort the baby as our children already have complications and the current fetus is not in a healthy condition?<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    The jurists allow abortion within 120 days with the advice of a practising Muslim doctor.1<\/sup><\/a> Since the pregnancy has passed the 120-day threshold it will not be permissible.<\/span><\/p>\n
