Question:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Many years ago, my father had given me the SIM card which I have been using for my phone.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

However, today I got to know that, officially the SIM card is registered with my father’s name.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

All through these years, I did not know about this and have been doing online business using the same SIM card. It is also very difficult to change the registered name at the earliest due to various reasons.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I wanted to know, if all the income will be permissible for me I earn using the internet connection which is acquired through the SIM card.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Also, can I continue to use the SIM card for my business even without changing the name? (I will be doing it later, Insha-Allah)<\/span><\/p>\n

The SIM card your father gave you will be considered a gift.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There\u2019s no need for your name to be on the business (SIM card in this case) in order for the income to become Halal.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You can continue to use the SIM card your father gifted you and may continue your business. (1)<\/span><\/p>\n
