    \n2. What is mahr e fatimi. Can I pay mahr partially before & after marriage?<\/span>
    \n3. Can I recite this Dua for seeking a righteous child? “Rabbi Habli Minasaleheen”?<\/span>
    \n4. I’m unmarried which dua is beneficial for me getting married soon and having a good relationship with my wife.?<\/span>
    \n5. Can change my wife’s real name after marriage eg. ( Saima to Asma)?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    The nighttime begins at sunset and continues until the break of dawn (Fajr). To calculate the last third of the night a person should calculate the amount of time between sunset and the break of dawn, then divide this time into three equal portions. The third portion will be considered the last third of the night. E.g; if the time between sunset and fair is nine (9) hours then the last third of the night will begin three (3) hours before the break of dawn.<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Mahr Fatimi is the mahr (dowry) given by Hazrat Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) to Hazrat Fatima (May Allah be pleased with her) which was stipulated by the messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    The\u00a0amount of this mahr is 480 dirhams, however, there is some difference in opinion regarding this. One silver dirham is equal to approximately 3.06 grams of silver, so one would calculate the price of 1468.80 grams of silver on the day of marriage to approximate the Mahr Fatimi.<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    With regards to paying the mahr (dowry), it can be stipulated to be paid in advance or deferred to a later date. (Raddul Muhtar, pg 291, vol 4)<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Reciting the dua; “Rabbi Habli Minas Saliheen” a<\/em>sking Allah (SWT) for a righteous child is allowed.<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    This dua was recited by Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) asking Allah to grant a righteous child and, is recorded in the holy Quran.<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Some recommendations for marriage and having a righteous wife are;<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    1, “Rabbana atina fid dunya hasanataw-wa fil Aa\u2019khirati hasanataw-wa-qina \u2018azaaban-naar”<\/span>
    \nTranslation: \u201cOur Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    2, “Rabbana hablana min azwaajina\u00a0wa dhuriyyatina qurrata A\u2019yunin waj\u2019alna lil- muttaqina imama”<\/span>
    \nTranslation: \u201cOur Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    3, “Rabbi inni lima anzalta ilayya min khairin faqir”<\/span>
    \nTranslation: \u201cMy Lord! Truly, I am in need of whatever good that You bestow on me!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    With regards to a person changing their name, it is permitted to do so as long as the name does not have an undignified or unbefitting meaning.<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    So, it will be permissible for some to change their name for a name with a better meaning. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to change bad names to good ones.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Ibn ‘Umar reported that Allah’s Messenger (\ufdfa) changed the name of ‘Asiya (Disobedient) and said: You are Jamilah (i. e. Beautiful). (Muslim, 2139)<\/span><\/p>\n
