What are the procedures to establish a Mosque (just a small place to pray)<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A Masjid<\/em> is a sanctified area in which the ownership of that land has been given up so it becomes an endowment. Meaning that it has become Waqf<\/em>. Thus, the reward of any Salah<\/em> which is performed there would now be multiplied 25-27 times. This is not the same as a Musalla<\/em>, Jamaat Khana<\/em>, prayer room, etc. where congregational prayers may take place but as they are not an endowment the reward would not be the same. An actual Masjid<\/em> is that area or building which has been dedicated solely for the purpose of the worship of All\u0101h Ta\u2019\u0101l\u0101<\/em>, recitation of Qur\u2019\u0101n<\/em>, His remembrance and etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Once an area or building has been endowed as a Masjid<\/em>, it will remain a Masjid<\/em> until the last day. It cannot be repurposed for anything else. It is the place where All\u0101h Ta’\u0101l\u0101’s<\/em> mercy descends. It is forbidden to have intercourse, urinate and defecate above or below it because the reach of the Masjid<\/em> continues to the area above and below it. Thus, no impurity can enter into it. It is prohibited for a male in major impurities and a menstruating woman to enter it also. [Radd Ul-Muht\u0101r; <\/em>volume 2, page 427-429] [1]<\/span><\/p>\n
