Now I did my research and realised that my mom was wrong, what do I do?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><u>In the name of <em>All\u0101h<\/em>, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><u>Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">If a fast is broken due to an acceptable reason, then <em>Qadh\u0101<\/em> is necessary. However, if a fast is broken without a valid reason, then <em>Kaffarah <\/em>is due (i.e., to fast for 60 consecutive days as an expiation for the deliberately broken fast).
