Assalamualaikum can one person lead the khutbah and Namaz for the 1st Jumuah Salah and then Khutbah only for the 2nd Jumuah time?<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It will be better that a person from the second jamaat to deliver the khutbah and perform the salah<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In principle, The person doing the khutbah has to read the salah. Even a person can read from a book. You can also train some people from the congregation to do Kutbah and ask for volunteers beforehand.<\/span><\/p>\n

As for salah, According to the Hanafi Madhab, in order for a congregation to be valid, the nature of the Imam’s salah must correspond with that of the muqtad\u012b (follower) in all its aspects. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The second Jumu\u2018ah salah of an Imam who has already performed his Jumu\u2018ah Salah once before is in fact a Nafl Salah. The people following him in this second Jummah congregation are fulfilling their obligatory (fardh) salah. Since the salah of a follower completing his fardh behind an Imam performing Nafl is not valid, this second Jummah therefore will not be valid.<\/span><\/p>\n
