Assalamu alaykum Ustaji, had a question to ask. If I fly into Jeddah but head to madina from there, would I have passed the miqaat that requires me to go into state of ihram?<\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If a person doing umrah<\/em> has intention to go to Madinah<\/em> first after coming to Jeddah then before he arrives at Jeddah airport, it is not necessary that he wears ihr\u0101m<\/em> before arriving at Jeddah. Without wearing ihr\u0101m<\/em> , he can arrive at Jeddah and then head towards Madinah<\/em>. The people who say that while going from Jeddah to Madinah<\/em>, they have to wear ihr\u0101m<\/em>, their opinion is not correct. After going to Madinah<\/em>, when they head towards Makkah then they wear ihr\u0101m<\/em> from\u00a0 Dhul al- Halifah<\/em>. Jeddah is included in the hill meaning it is included in miqat<\/em>. Ihr\u0101m<\/em> is necessary when a person has intention to enter the haram<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n
