In Hanafi Fiqh, the creation of animations, 3D imagery, and modelling, particularly of animate beings, is traditionally prohibited based on hadith and classical jurisprudence. As severe punishment has been mentioned in hadith1<\/sup>: Abdullah saying that he heard the Prophet (\ufdfa) saying, “The people who will receive the severest punishment from Allah will be the picture makers.'” (Bukhari 5950)<\/span><\/p>\n

However, contemporary Hanafi scholars allow for certain exceptions, especially when these images are digital, non-permanent, and serve beneficial purposes such as education, medical training, and professional applications, which surmises that if images do not depict Allah\u2019s creation, usually in 2d, only that would be permitted.2<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n

It remains crucial that these creations do not promote idolatry or immorality- the 3D imagery that you may feel to construct would fall under idolatry, and Allah has strictly prohibited this in the Quran, where Allah has mentioned in Surah Maida:90, \u201cO you have believed indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Consequently, in answer to your question, all 3D imagery should be completed avoided unless it\u2019s for educational purposes or the likes providing, they do not depict immoral content.<\/span><\/p>\n
