Is there any special age, in which one should make circumcision for once child ?<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of <\/strong><\/u>All<\/strong><\/u><\/em>\u0101<\/strong><\/u><\/em>h<\/strong><\/u><\/em>, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There is no specific age for it to be done. Obviously, the earlier it is done, the less painful it is and recovery time is faster.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ibn ‘Abb\u0101s RA<\/em> was asked: \u201cHow old were you when the Prophet \ufdfa died?\u201d He replied: \u201cAt that time I had been circumcised. At that time, people did not circumcise the boys till they attained the age of puberty.\u201d Sa’id bin Jubair<\/em> said: \u201cIbn ‘Abb\u0101s<\/em> said: \u201cWhen the Prophet \ufdfa died, I had already been circumcised.\u201d [Sahih al-Bukh\u0101r\u012b: Hadith 6299<\/em>] [1]<\/span><\/p>\n

All\u0101h’s<\/em> Messenger \ufdfa said: \u201cFive practices are characteristics of the Fitra<\/em>: circumcision, shaving the pubic region, clipping the nails and cutting the moustaches short.\u201d [Sah\u012bh al-Bukh\u0101r\u012b: Hadith 5889; Sah\u012bh al-Muslim: Hadith 257; Sunan an-Nas\u0101\u2019\u012b: Hadith 5042<\/em>] [2]<\/span><\/p>\n

All\u0101h’s<\/em> Messenger \ufdfa said: \u201cThe Prophet Ibr\u0101h\u012bm AS circumcised himself after he had passed the age of eighty years and he circumcised himself with an adze.” [Sah\u012bh al-Bukh\u0101r\u012b: Hadith 6298<\/em>] [3]<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There are numerous more narrations and accounts of a number of Sah\u0101bah<\/em> who were circumcised at a full range of ages. It is permissible to have it done at any age.<\/span><\/p>\n
