{"id":3218,"date":"2011-09-03T10:54:23","date_gmt":"2011-09-03T10:54:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/wp\/?p=3218"},"modified":"2011-09-03T10:54:23","modified_gmt":"2011-09-03T10:54:23","slug":"can-women-tie-their-hair-with-ribbons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/home\/can-women-tie-their-hair-with-ribbons\/","title":{"rendered":"Can women tie their hair with ribbons?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Please clarify that if a woman ties her hair with a hair tie (made of cloth elastic etc), is it that ok? jazaak allah<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful. <\/strong><\/p>\n<h1><strong>Answer <\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>It is strictly prohibited to wear the hair of another human or to join human hair to one\u2019s own hair.<\/p>\n<p>Saaiduna Abu Hurairah Radiallahu Anhu narrates that the Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam said: \u201cAllah has cursed women who joins (her hair or someone else\u2019s) hair (with the hair of another man or a woman) and the woman who asks for her hair to be joined (with the hair of another person)\u2026\u201d (Sahih Bukhari p.879 v.2)<\/p>\n<p>However, if the hair is of plastic or is made out of synthetic fibres then it is permissible.
