Question:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Sajidatu-tilaawat was made at the wrong place, should there be a repeat.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Also, the Imaam made 4 rakats taraweeh Salah with one Salam, because he forgot to sit after the second rakat.<\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is permissible to perform Nafl Salah<\/em> in units of four, so if the Im<\/em>\u0101m<\/em> erred and prayed four Rak\u2019ats<\/em> in place of the intended two, the Salah<\/em> would still be valid. [Radd ul-Muht\u0101r: vol. 2, pg. 455<\/em>] [1]<\/span><\/p>\n

In regards to your question about performing Sajdah Til\u0101wah<\/em> at the wrong place, more clarification is required. If it was done outside of Salah<\/em> then there is no issue whatsoever, as outside of Salah<\/em>, it is permissible to delay the Sajdah<\/em>, however that is disliked. [Mar\u0101qy al-Fal\u0101h: pg. 480<\/em>] [2]<\/span><\/p>\n

On the other hand, if it was in the Salah<\/em>, then it is necessary to perform the Sajdah<\/em> straight away. If it was delayed due to error, then we have hope that All\u0101h Ta\u2019\u0101l\u0101 <\/em>will not hold us accountable for the errors which we have done unknowingly. An allowance of upto three verses has also been given. Sajdah sahw<\/em> (Sajdah<\/em> for error) would be due because of the delay. [Radd ul-Muht\u0101r: vol. 2, pg. 573<\/em>][3]<\/span><\/p>\n
