The situation is : I work for Britvic Soft Drinks which produces (non\/alcoholic drinks)(fruit shoot, Pepsi etc) I work in a lab environment and test samples from production( raw materials all the way to finished product and report and analyse and writeup results this has no contact with alcoholic drinks . I have been doing this for the last 8 years +.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today Carlsberg has made and offer to buy the company I work for and the deal will complete end of January. Once the deal has completed they will make a new entity and call it Carlsberg britvic.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

They will merge all uk alcohol factories from Carlsberg with britvic (non-alcohol factories) to make a new entity. My role will carry on as it has done in the past with no contact with alcohol but I will be getting paid by Carlsberg britvic.<\/span><\/p>\n

My question is it still permissible to work in my current role and if not can I wait to find another job whilst still working in current role?<\/span><\/p>\n
