I was wondering whether buying figurines of TV shows and games for the sake of displaying them on shelves would be permissible? With the knowledge that these figurines aren\u2019t bought for the purpose of a child playing with them.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the ahadith it mentions:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cAngels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or there are pictures.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Therefore it will be prohibited to buy the figures of TV shows and games to display them on the shelves.This will deprive the blessing and the mercy to descend on such home where these item are found. It will be better to display with utmost respect the name of Allah and Our Nabi, or ayaat of the Quran with hope of blessing and mercy in the house.<\/span><\/p>\n
