I saw in a video that one shaykh was saying that, if we don’t say Bismillah ,shaitan also does what we do at the same time. Does it mean if we “masturbate”,or randomly touch our private parts without saying bismillah, then shaitan or jinn is also touching our private parts without us knowing?<\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Jabir b. ‘Abdullah reported Allah’s Messenger (\ufdfa) as saying:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When a person enters his house and mentions the name of Allah at the time of entering it and while eating the food, Satan says (addressing himself: You have no place to spend the night and no evening meal; but when he enters without mentioning the name of Allah, the Satan says: You have found a place to spend the night, and when he does not mention the name of Allah while eating food, he (the Satan) says: You have found a place to spend the night and evening meal. [Sahih Muslim).<\/span><\/p>\n

We learn from the above hadeeth the significance of saying bismillah on or daily acts, saying bismillah brings barakah on the actions we do and prevents Shaytan taking part, however its not befitting to say that any\/all actions which is not accompanied by saying bismillah, Shaytan takes his part from it especially \u2018random unintentional acts\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please be aware that unlawful acts such as masturbation is not to be accompanied with the mentioning of Bismillah, \u2018In the name of Allah\u2019, as there is no barakah or seeking barakah or reward in acts of sin.<\/span><\/p>\n
