I received this message. I believe it might be Talaq for Shafi\u2019is but I would like other views:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

During a back-and-forth with my wife, I got irritated and said to her, \u201cI can\u2019t do this,\u201d \u201cYou may leave,\u201d and \u201cI\u2019m not able to do this anymore\u201d a few times, with the intention of ending the relationship. However, the next day, when my anger subsided, I realized that I didn\u2019t actually want to end the relationship. Does this constitute a divorce?.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the hanafi madhab there are 2 types of talaq. One which is clear where the word of divorce is uttered. The other one which is ambiguous where the word divorced was not uttered but there are indication to it and the man have the intention of divorce.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Therefore as per the question above. A divorce has taken place and the relation has terminated. The husband and wife is no more in nikah and the woman should observe iddah (the waiting period).<\/span><\/p>\n
