Can a woman remarry after 4 weeks of a khula (one menstrual cycle) a local mufti and the Islamic shariah council London have said this is okay?<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the Hanafi School of thought once the Nikah has been annulled, the woman must complete her Iddah (waiting period) of three menstrual cycles. She would not be allowed to marry someone else. However, if she is remarrying her ex-husband who she got the khula from in the first place, then that would be allowed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
