 <\/p>\n

\u062a\u0639\u064a\u064a\u0646 means to specify. It is important to specify the amount of Mahr at the time of Nikaah to avoid any issues later on. Mahr Fatimi is the amount of Mahr given by Hadrat Ali \u0631\u0636\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0646\u0647 to Hadrat Fatima \u0631\u0636\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0646\u0647\u0627 which was 480 Dirhams. If one is able to afford it, then he can set it to that specified amount. If one is unable to afford it, they can agree a lesser amount. According to the Hanafi school of thought, the minimum amount of Mahr is 10 Dirhams.<\/span><\/p>\n

To answer your question, if you agree for the Mahr to be set at the exact amount of Mahr Fatimi, then that is what should be provided. Alternatively you can agree of a different amount more than 10 Dirhams.<\/span><\/p>\n
