Motivated by this thought process he studied major religions until he got convinced that only can be a true faith of God.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">So what will be the ruling in that part of life when he was uncertain about truth of Islam and during that phase also got married. Will he be deemed to be a Muslim and his nikah considered valid?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>Answer:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">In Islamic law, the validity of a person&#8217;s faith is judged based on their outward status unless clear evidence shows otherwise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">In\u00a0Hanafi Fiqh, a Muslim remains within the fold of Islam unless they\u00a0explicitly\u00a0and\u00a0clearly\u00a0commit an act of disbelief (kufr) or deny a fundamental belief such as the Oneness of Allah, the Prophethood of Muhammad \ufdfa, or the Qur&#8217;an.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">Merely\u00a0doubting or being uncertain\u00a0internally without openly rejecting Islam\u00a0 does\u00a0not remove a person from Islam. As long as someone continues to outwardly identify as Muslim (by name, association, and basic practice), he is considered Muslim according to Islamic law (Shar\u012b\u2018ah) and all Islamic rulings (like the validity of marriage, inheritance, burial rites) continue to apply to him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">According to Hanafi Fiqh, the individual remained a Muslim throughout his phase of doubt because he did not openly reject Islam. His internal uncertainty does not invalidate his Islam. Therefore, his Nik\u0101h performed during that period is valid and does not need to be repeated.
