\n\tFor the last 3 years of marriage we are trying to have an issue without success. All medical reports of my wife and myself are normal. One of my relatives went to dargah of ajmer sharif. She has brought some seeds which have to be consumed by both husbsnd and wife after observing roza for one day. I am unwilling to do any such thing for fear of getting involved in bidaah. Am l right or should I do it?<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAnswer:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\"Bismillah\"<\/a>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAllah \"sub\u1e25\u0101nahu mentions in the Holy Quran:” To Allah belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He creates what he wills. He grants females to whom he wills. Or he combines for them couples, both males and females, and makes whom he wills barren. Surely, he is All Knowing, very powerful” (Surah Shura verse 49-50)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe above verse states the absolute power and perfect wisdom of Allah \"sub\u1e25\u0101nahu in the creation of this universe. After analysing this verse we come to know that it is indeed Allah \"sub\u1e25\u0101nahu who grants children (be it boy or girl) to couples, and he renders some females barren who do not have any children. (Ma’ariful Quran p.702 v.7)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSayyidna Jabir \"ra\u1e0dyAll\u0101hu narrates that a man came to the prophet of Allah \"\u1e63allall\u0101hu and said: “I have a slave girl, who serves us, I also fulfil my desires with her but I dislike the fact that she gets pregnant? The prophet of Allah \"\u1e63allall\u0101hu said: “you may do azal (a form of contraception) with her if you wish to but whatever is destined to emerge (i.e. if she was to get pregnant) will always prevail.” The man never appeared for some time. Then one day that man returned and informed the prophet of Allah \"\u1e63allall\u0101hu that his slave girl had become pregnant. Upon hearing this the prophet of Allah \"\u1e63allall\u0101hu said: “did i not inform you that whatever is destined to emerge will surely emerge” (Sahih Muslim p465 v1)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSayyidna Abu Saeed Ul Khudri \"ra\u1e0dyAll\u0101hu narrates that once the prophet of Allah \"\u1e63allall\u0101hu was asked about Azal (a form of contraception). He sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam replied by saying: “ A child is not born from every drop of sperm, but rather when Allah \"sub\u1e25\u0101nahu decides to create something, nothing can stop Allah Ta’ala from creating it” (ibid)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe introduction of children entering into this world lies solely in the power of Allah \"sub\u1e25\u0101nahu. It is not due to mans doings that a child exists.  There are scenarios where married couples try their utmost best for a child to be born, but Allah subhanahu Wa Ta’ala has not decreed for them to have a child. On the other hand, there are many couples who try their utmost best to avoid having a child via contraception etc, but Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala has decreed for them to have a child. Therefore if it is destined for a person to have a child then it will surely come in its due time. (Mazaahirul Haq Jadeed p322 v3)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWith regards to your Question, I have not come across any Hadeeth whereby it mentions that for one who is looking to have a child should offer such and such ritual. This was not the practice of the blessed companions (may Allah be pleased with them) nor the pious predecessors. It is necessary that you refrain from such acts due. Such acts would come under the category of Shirk.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tMy sincere advice would be that you perform Salatul Haajah regularly and ask Allah \"sub\u1e25\u0101nahu to fulfil your needs.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt is narrated by Saaiduna Abdullah Bin Abi Awfah \"ra\u1e0dyAll\u0101hu that the Prophet of Allah said; “Whoever, has any need from Allah or anyone of his children, let him make Wudhu and let him make it well, then after two rakaats of Salah, praise Allah and invoice benedictions upon the Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam then say;<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tLA ILAHA ILAL-LA HUL HALIMUL KARIM. SUBHANAL-LAHIL RABBIL ARSHIL AZIM. ALHAMDULILAHI RABBIL ALAMIN. AS ALUKA MUJIBATI RAHMATIK. WA AZAIMA MAGFIRATIK, WAL GANIMATA MIN KULI BIRR, WAS-SALAMATA MIN KULI ITHM LA TADA LI DHAMBAN ILLA GHAFARTAH WA LA HAMMAN ILLA FARAJTAH, WALA HAJATAN HIYA LAKA RIDAN ILLA QADIYTAHA YA ARHAMAR RAHIMIN.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThere is no god but Allah, the most for bearing, most bountiful, glory be to Allah, Lord of the magnificent throne. All praises is for Allah, Lord of the Universe. I beg you for all that causes your mercy, determines Your forgiveness, a wealth of every form of piety and security from every sin. O’Allah, do not leave any sin of mine but that you have forgiven it, nor any worry but that you have uplifted it, nor any need which conforms with your pleasure but that you have fulfilled it, O most merciful of all that show mercy! (Sunan Timizi P.108 V.1)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
