\n\tI had wet dreams and i used to scratch the bed sheet as i think there may be semen on the bed sheet then i used to scratch with my feet and used to walk on the carpet without washing the feet before going to bathroom and i think that some traces of semen may have touched feet and that may have make the carpet  impure as when i used to scratch i feel as there was no wetness as on the bed sheet neither i feel some wetness on my feet also at that time when i used to see my trouser the semen was dry and when i scratched it i did not see any wetness on my hand or any traces i am in doubt whether the carpet i have stepped is impure and that the impurity is then transferred to all of my house ie carpets what should i do as i am not certain whether semen had got on my feet or not. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/o:p><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThere is a principle in Islamic jurisprudence which is:<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t“Certainty is not lifted by a doubt.” (Al Ashbah Wan Nadhair p.60)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tTherefore, with regards to your question, unless you can clearly and visibly see any semen or impurity on the carpet, you should presume the carpet to be pure and clean.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSometimes these little doubts can lead to waswasas or Satanic whispers which leads one to have doubts about everything regarding salah, cleanliness and even issues regarding divorce.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
