The Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam has said that women should stay indoors, because when they come out Satan makes her a means of spreading evil amongst Muslims.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">&nbsp;&ldquo;A woman is an object of concealment, thus when she emerges, Satan uses her a means of spreading evil.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">(Mishkat, Tirmizi)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Ibn-Khuzaymah and Ibn-Hibban have also reported the following hadith.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"right\">\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong><span dir=\"RTL\">\u0648\u0627\u0642\u0631\u0628 \u0645\u0627 \u062a\u0643\u0648\u0646 \u0645\u0646 \u0648\u062c\u0647 \u0631\u0628\u0647\u0627 \u0648\u0647\u064a \u0641\u064a \u0642\u0639\u0631 \u0628\u064a\u062a\u0647\u0627<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">&nbsp;&ldquo;A woman is closer to her Lord when she is (hidden) in the midmost of her house.&rdquo;<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">&nbsp;Islam&rsquo;s approach to women staying at home is that they will be prevented and saved from the mischief of the outside world. However, Islam being a divine religion has understood that sometimes and in some situations women need to come out of their homes for their personnel needs.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">This can be derived from the following hadith:<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"right\">\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong><span dir=\"RTL\">\u0644\u064a\u0633 \u0644\u0644\u0646\u0633\u0627\u0621 \u0646\u0635\u064a\u0628 \u0641\u064a \u0627\u0644\u062e\u0631\u0648\u062c \u0627\u0644\u0627 \u0645\u0636\u0637\u0631\u0629<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">&ldquo;For women, there is no share in going out except if it is necessary.&rdquo; (Tabrani)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Although Islam has permitted women to leave their homes for necessities, it has placed some guidelines for them. One of them being that if they are travelling for more than three days (48 miles), their husbands or their mahrams (unmarriageable kins) should accompany them.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">They are many clear narrations regarding this:<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:36.0pt;\">\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">1)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;A woman must not travel except with a mahram and a man must not enter upon her except if she has a mahram.&rdquo;&nbsp; (Bukhari p.250 v.1)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:36.0pt;\">\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">2)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;A woman must not travel for three days except with a mahram.&rdquo; (Muslim p.432 v.1)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:36.0pt;\">\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">3)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;It is unlawful for a woman who believes in Allah and the last day that she travels the distance of three nights without a mahram accompanying her.&rdquo; (Muslim p.433 v.1)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Allahmah Ibn Aabedeen Shami <img title=\"ra\u1e25imahull\u0101h (may All\u0101h have mercy upon him)\" alt=\"ra\u1e25imahull\u0101h (may All\u0101h have mercy upon him)\" class=\"islamic_graphic\" src=\"http:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/wp-content\/plugins\/islamic-graphics\/img\/black\/20\/rahimahu.png\" height=\"12px\"> writes that it will be impermissible for a woman to travel the distance of three days and three nights without a mahram. However, it will be permissible for her to travel a distance, which is less than that without a mahram because of need.
