Is it considered one or three Talaaq?<br \/>\n\tThe text of the email is:<br \/>\n\t<em>I realized that you all have no courage to face the truth and I&rsquo;m no part of you or Hafsa, so I am ending this relationship.<br \/>\n\tDon&#39;t expect me to have it on paper work.<br \/>\n\tGOOD LUCK!!!<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>Answer:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<a href=\"http:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Bismillah.jpg\" rel=\"\" target=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Bismillah\" height=\"50\" src=\"http:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Bismillah.jpg\" title=\"\" width=\"267\" \/><\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">The words which effect divorce are of two types:<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">1) Clear and plain words (sareeh)<br \/>\n\t2) Ambiguous and allusive words (kinaya)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Sareeh means expressly pronouncing the word divorce or words derived from it, such as: &ldquo;I divorce you&rdquo; or &ldquo;you are divorced&rdquo; etc. Clear and plain words effect divorce whether one intends divorce by them or not.<br \/>\n\t<em>(Hidayah, V2, P359, RaddulMuhtaar, V2, P465, FatawaHindiyah, V1, P354)<\/em> &nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Kinaya means using words that are not exclusively prescribed for issuing divorce, but alludes and hints to it. Kinaya words do <u>not<\/u> effect divorce unless one intends divorce by them or it is determined by the circumstances. (<em>Hidayah, V2, P373, RaddulMuhtaar, V2, P501, FatawaHindiyah, V1, P374) <\/em>&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">The kinaya words effect talaaqbain when one intends divorce by them.<br \/>\n\t<em>(Hidayah, V2, P374, RaddulMuhtaar, V2, P507)<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">In the given situation, the words will constitute one TalaaqBaain (irrevocable divorce) if the intention was to issue divorce.
