Question:

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah

If a husband and wife have an argument does the wife’s aunt (her father’s sister) have the right to interfere between husband and wife dispute.

Answer:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Generally speaking, the disputes should be kept between the couples and they should try their best to solve it amongst themselves. If not, then a third-party member may be involved who the couples both are pleased with. The aunt does not have the right to interfere unless the couples have made her the resolver of the dispute.

Only Allah SWT alone knows best.
