Question

Is there ijmaa for Masjid Aisha or the other Madhaahib don't agree on Masjid Aisha being a point (meeqat)? I see the Salafis have a problem with it.

Answer:

In the Hanafi Madhab, Masjid Aisha, also known as Masjid Tan’im, is the closest place to “Hill” and a place where a person can enter the state of Ihram.[1] It has been narrated in Sahih Muslim on the authority of Abdul Rahman Ibn Abu Bakr (ra) that the Prophet (saw) ordered him to mount A’isha (ra) behind him and enable her to (enter into the state of ihram for Umrah) at Tan’im.[2]

The position of the other Madhaahib would be better known with their respective scholars and Muftis. Therefore, please refer to them for the opinion of their Madhab.
