Mazoor

The question I wanted to falls into the category purity.

I wanted to know after I have been to the toilet and urinated. I make sure that no drops come out afterwards but the thing that happens to me regularly is that after I have finish urinating and making sure no drops come out, I need to go to urinate again and again no matter how long I spend in the toilet. Basically it feels like that if I go to the toilet anytime of the day to urinate I will urinate even if I have been just a while a go (I feel like that my bladder in not empty). I wanted to know that (providing that I make sure that no urine drops come out) does my namaz count if this happens to me? If not what measures do I need to take?

Answer:

In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.

According to Shariah an individual will be considered Ma’zoor (excused) if a whole prayer time passes and the person does not find enough time free of the illness to perform wudhu and salah. A person then will be continued to be considered a Ma’zoor if that illness reoccurs at least once during each prayer time. (Raddul Muhtar, vol 1, P223)

In your situation, although you may feel the need or indeed go to the toilet on numerous occasions, you will not be considered a ma’zoor. You shall be required to perform wudhu and perform salah as normal. This will have no ill consequence on the validity of your prayers.

And Allah knows best.
