Question:

Seeing animals in dreams

Answer:

Bismillah

In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.

The answer depends on what animal a person sees in his dreams.

Lizard: If a person was to see a lizard in his dream it can mean the following…

  1. A secret is going to be exposed.
  2. One is involved in non-sensible talk.
  3. Someone is going to deceive him.
  4. If he sees himself riding or sitting on a lizard, it is a sign that he will become a king.

Horse: Seeing a horse in a dream is a sign of a good dream. It can mean the following:

  1. One will attain power, strength, and wealth and victory against the enemies.

Donkey:

  1.  One will receive a slave or be blessed with a child or with some other blessings.
  2. It maybe a sign that one will undertake a religious journey.
  3. It maybe an indication of receiving good sustenance.
  4. A person’s difficulty will be removed.
  5. A person will receive a high post.
  6. If someone sees himself sacrificing a donkey to eat, it is a sign of receiving barakah in his sustenance. However, if he sees himself sacrificing a donkey for purposes other than to eat, it is a sign of his sustenance being restricted.

Locusts:

  1. Seeing locust in a dream is a sign of Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) punishment and azaab.
  2. If a person sees eating or catching locust it is a sign that he has attained some blessings.
  3. If a person sees himself filling a container or pot with locusts then it is a sign that he will receive money.

Rats:

  1. He will meet an unlawful woman or a stealer.
  2. He will receive barakah on his sustenance.
  3. If one sees a rat running away from his house, it is a sign of blessings disappearing from his house.
  4. If one sees he is becoming an owner of a rat, it is a sign that he will become an owner of a slave or servant.

Bustard:

  1. It is a sign of genoristy.
  2. One will receive wealth without any difficulties.
