Question:
I need some advice please. We arrived at Jeddah at Maghrib time, we’re now on our way to Mecca. We leave for Madina at around 7/8 am in the morning on 1/6/26. Do we read shortened prayer as I think it is just under 15 days (it would only become 15 days after Maghrib on the same day).

Answer:
If a traveller intends to stay somewhere for 15 full days or more, they pray full salah. If the intended stay is less than 15 days, they remain a traveller and shorten the 4 rakah prayers.
You will shorten prayers (qasr) as you intend to stay in Makkah for less than 15 days.
