Question:
In a place where all masjids start jummah before zawaal, how should a Hanafi go about with it? Perform Zuhr or are some loopholes for him?

Answer:
In the Hanafi madhhab, Jumu‘ah is only valid once the time of Zuhr has begun, which is after zawaal. If it is performed before that, it is not considered a valid Jum’uah, and the obligation of Zuhr still remains on the person.
So if someone lives in a place where all the masjids consistently pray Jumu‘ah before zawaal, the ruling does not change. From a Hanafi perspective, that prayer would not fulfil the obligation. Because of this, the person still needs to make sure they pray their Zuhr salah.
A person can attend the Jumu‘ah prayer to avoid unnecessary division, but then pray Zuhr afterwards to fulfil the obligation properly, or if they prefer, they can simply pray Zuhr and not attend Jumu’ah.
As for switching to another madhhab to accept the early Jumu‘ah timing, this is not something generally encouraged without a genuine need. The safest approach for a Hanafi is to make sure that Zuhr is performed in any case.
