Question

Any solution for haaidh not being able to do tawaaf ziyaarat besides taking pills or sacrificing a camel?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

When a woman menstruates at the time of Ihrām, she will take bath and assume Ihrām and do as the pilgrim does, except that she does not do Tawāf until she is clean.

Aisha said (May Allāh be pleased with her) said:

“We set out with the Prophet (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) for Hajj and when we reached Sarif I got my menses. When the Prophet (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)  came to me, I was weeping. He asked, “Why are you weeping?” I said, “I wish if I had not performed Hajj this year.” He asked, “Maybe that you got your menses?” I replied, “Yes.” He then said, “This is the thing which Allah has ordained for all the daughters of Adam. So do what all the pilgrims do except that you do not perform the Tawaf round the Ka`ba till you are clean.” (Reported by al-Bukhari No.305)

If the menstruating woman is unable to perform Tawaf al-Ifādah on its time due to her menses, then she must wait until she becomes pure and then makes the Tawaf al-Ifādah. By doing this, she will not be required to make sacrifices.

If she menstruates after standing in Arafat and the Tawaf al-Ziyarah, she will depart from Makkah and has nothing on her of the Tawaf al-Wida. This is because the Prophet (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) permitted the menstruating women to leave the Tawaf al-Wida.
